Combat items can have an increased item level, indicated when an item has '+1' up to '+9' in the item name. Items can be upgraded at the Upgrade Alters in Scepia (4-5)....
Weapon and armor items...
- Weapons and armor items can be upgraded with Power Gem, Soul Gem, or Vigor Gem.
- Common, Uncommon, and Rare items use a Power Gem / Soul Gem to upgrade them.
- Epic and Legendary items use a Vigor Gem to upgrade them.
- Success rates vary depending on the item rarity, check the table below for full details.
- If the item upgrade fails, all items are destroyed.
Wing items...
- Wing items can be upgraded with Ancient Feathers and an Energy Gem.
- There is no chance of failure when upgrading Tier 1 wings.
- There is a chance of failure when upgrading Tier 2 wings, and greater tiers of wings.
- If the item upgrade fails, all items are destroyed.
